Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

Your notice must include all of the following elements, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

Counter-Notification

If you believe that content you posted was removed or access to it was disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with our Designated Agent pursuant to 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3).

A valid counter-notification must include the following:

Your physical or electronic signature.
Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access was disabled.
A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, the District of Wyoming), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the removed content within 10–14 business days unless the complainant notifies us that they have filed a legal action to restrain you from engaging in infringing activity.

Please note that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification may also be liable for damages.
